See what the API returns
One response format for every category and provider, down to holdings and fees. Build once and reuse it across providers and markets.
How it works

Select providers
Your customers choose which investment, pension, savings, insurance and loan providers to connect.

Give consent
Your customers authenticate securely and give consent, and we retrieve their data from each provider.

Turn it into context
We validate and standardise data from every provider, and turn it into consistent, usable context for your product or AI.

Access it your way
Use the data through our API, embed the consent journey with Connect, or connect AI via MCP.
Put financial data to work
Financial AI
Give AI assistants and agents consented financial data, so they answer from what customers hold.
Capital transfer
See holdings customers have elsewhere and pre-fill transfers, so more investments and pensions move.
Financial advisory
Show advisors customers' finances across providers, so recommendations start from real figures.
Insurance switch
Read customers' current policies and premiums, so switching is simple and offers fit what they hold.
FAQ
Is any licence required for this?
No financial licence is required. The customer is accessing their own data and sharing it with you on their own instruction.
How do customers authenticate with their providers?
Customers choose which providers to connect and authenticate with each one using the same credentials or e-ID they use with that provider. Nothing is collected until they have given their consent. The data belongs to the consumer, who shares it under the local rules for data access in each market. Anessa processes it under GDPR, as a data processor under a data processing agreement with you. This way of connecting accounts was common before PSD2 and is still widely used across Europe today.
Which markets do you cover?
We’re currently live in nine European markets, and building coverage in more. Investment, pension and savings data is available in the UK, Sweden, France, Germany, Italy and Denmark. Insurance data is available in Sweden, France, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Coverage differs by provider, so see the full list per market in our docs.
Where is the data stored and for how long?
As a data processor, the personal data will be stored for the retention period agreed with you and for the purposes of your business. The data is stored in the EU region.
Is it secure and consented?
Yes. Nothing is collected until the customer has given their consent and authorised Anessa’s assisted access to their financial service provider. Anessa uses the customer’s credentials only to carry out the data collection and discards them immediately afterwards. They are never shared and never reach your systems. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored in the EU, and Anessa is ISO 27001 certified. Read more on our security page.
What does it cost?
Pricing has two parts: a one-off implementation fee and a platform fee. The platform fee includes a pay-per-use charge based on monthly active data-sharing customers, plus a fixed price for platform access. Get in touch for a quote.
